Thought Of The Day

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,  so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God Eph. 3:16-19

What root are you planted in to today? What surface are you standing on? Is it secure? If you started out on rocky and shaky ground in the beginning of your life, your marriage or your career you may need to re-root yourself. If you got an insecure and unstable beginning in anything, you always have the chance to make your path straight!
Don't settle for the way things are if you have God in your life just as this verse states it's my prayer today for you that you can and will grasp how great God's plan, love and will is for you, it's beyond what you think of yourself. To 'grasp' means to "make the motion of seizing eagerly" also means "to clasp or embrace especially with the mind." So today 'grasp' how wide, and how long and how high and how deep is the love of Christ for you. Take hold with all you have and if your foundation of your situation is shaky and is causing you to crumble or tip over when you try to grasp, it may be time for a new root to be planted.
