Purpose in your pain!

I will never forget the day each of our sons were born. It is engraved in my heart forever. The first look at each of them, the smells of a newborn baby, the skin's perfection of new birth, priceless memories! There is really nothing like a newborn baby in your arms that you as the mother have talked to from within the womb for 9 months, sang songs to, (even with a not so in tune voice) you massage your belly knowing under the layer of that skin and all is a human being, your child nestled inside your body waiting to meet you and your family outside the safe haven of your belly. The baby has no idea what to expect, is resting in peace, joy, total fulfillment, all needs met, there is no fear for the infant, nothing that would cause harm, or unhappiness, and to think you as the mom have that privilege to offer such amazingness to the baby.
You as the parents of this yet to be born child know what you want for your baby. You have dreams and hope filled plans to offer this child of yours, you lay awake at night thinking and praying for your newborn and want only the best! The day arrives for delivery and you are filled with anxious happiness to finally meet your infant. There is nothing in the world that can possibly happen that will make you want to not go through the labor pains of childbirth, for you know the pain is purposeful. The pain and waiting for this miracle of yours is worth any amount of it, as you wait, wait and push through the process to finally deliver your amazing creation that God created for you to enjoy in a miracle life such as your own.
There is life in your current situation waiting to be "birthed", waiting to be born in your seemingly dismal circumstances that you are going through. You just need to remember that without pain, there is no knowledge of joy, without heartache there is no known happiness, without failure there is no experience of victory. We have to be willing to accept the things that come to us, and open wide our arms to the things that God has waiting for us on the other side of pain.

In Romans 8:22-24 it says "For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it."

Knowing your purpose in your own life is helpful to get through anything you are dealing with right now. What is your life's objective? Mine is  to 'overlook' or " look over " my life's purpose, passion and ultimately to overview and look into these things and gain new perspective to live our lives fully for God and his will. Do this daily and you will find newness to your life, and have a rebirth of joy, purpose and overall goodness for life.
