This photo was taken on Whidbey Island, Washington and it was a serene moment. At this very spot we were able to stand here and looking out we were able to see Victoria Island, BC, and at this spot I look up and there were 3 bald eagles souring above me. I thought to myself, "be still and know that I am God" from the scriptures. It takes moments like this that God places His beauty, his peace and creation before you amongst the business of our lives to remind us of his power, love and his ability to help you and I and bring hope for each circumstance you or I may be facing. In Isaiah 40 it tells us " but to those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." This is a promise worth holding onto, it's your day to hold on to a free gift of a lasting truth from God.
