Welcome New Year...hello Resolutions!

New Year's Resolutions..We look at our calendars and we see each day passing by quicker than we want it to. We make New Years resolutions once again, it's now the 3rd of January and we already begin to see failure of the goals we had made right before the new year. We find ourselves wanting to go back and 'restart' the things we wrote down or even verbalized to our friends and family, or most likely we would be that we posted it on social media for all to see, and we have the 'appearance' that we are doing those things we set out to do, but no one knows we really are feeling defeated and it's only the first week of the New Year.
I have an idea, the other day I was thinking, we may have better success if we "catapult" our goals into gear and we have the opportunity to restart our resolutions every day. Instead of giving up or abandoning the goal altogether when we have a set back, let's take the new goal and "catapult' it, daily, not viewing the goals as a yearly event.
The definition of catapult is a verb meaning "to hurl, or launch something in a specified direction with or as if with a catapult. The synonyms are to 'propel, launch, hurl, fling, shoot in a direction".
I love this idea, to 'propel' into action at the start of each day, at the end of the day and every time we may find ourselves back at square one. Who are we trying to please anyway, others, or God and yourself?
"The very thing you are holding on to, may be the exact thing that we set you free!"
