Mistaken Thinking

We all have messages and deep seeded words floating in our heads, in our hearts and they stem from what they call “mistaken thinking”.  These words and thoughts come from most likely other people that had an influence in our life as a child or teen when growing up and they were said in such a way or time that we began to believe these things. Sometimes people never go back to the roots of them and line these ways of thinking up with God’s word, in the bible…to make sure they are accurate or based on truth…there are a few. Is it time for you to re-define your ways of thinking?

HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU THOUGHT OR SAID THESE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS TO YOURSELF?

"WHAT A BIG MISTAKE! "
1. You are not defined by your mistakes, you are defined by God! He loves you and no matter what that will not change.
Romans 8:38 “For I am convinced that neither death or life , or angels or rulers or anything present or things to come will be able to separate us from the love of God”

“MY BAD!”
2. If you want to change your life, you need to change the way you think.
Proverbs 23:7 “As a man thinks in his heart so he is”

“NOT AGAIN!!”
3. Fear, guilt, shame, or regret are not fruits of the spirit to the believer.
Lamentations 3:22 “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies and compassions never end.”

“OOOPS!”
4. “Failure is a a detour, not a dead end street”
Isaiah 43:18 “ Do not call to mind the former things, or dwell (ponder) the things of the past, Look, I am doing a new thing, now it will spring up, will you not be aware of it? I am making a way in the desert, paths in the wilderness. “
