How many times have you felt like there was a long bridge in front of you, and you know God has called you to something new on the other side of it? There is the hope of crossing that bridge because it's in front of you, you see it and you trust it's ability to hold you as you cross, however there is a dark unknown path waiting for you at the other side keeping you from wanting to cross that bridge?
I have been in that situation, so I understand! I ask you today, what is it that separates the person who stays on the safe side and doesn't cross over, and the one who decides to walk the bridge? I have discovered there are two words to describe the difference, that is someone's fatih and a decision. Also, It's "OK" to not cross it, you just have to willingly understand that you have to live with the consequences of not taking that step of faith.
Do you have anything to lose by crossing over to the fear of the unknown? God created us to be brave, courageous people. He calls us out beyond the shore into the waves, He says "do not fear, I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." Isaiah 41:10
