It's the same with our lives. Trials seem to weigh us down if we focus on them. We need to remember the times we had without those hard times and hope for what will soon be. In Romans 8:25 it says, "But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently." and Romans 5:4, "endurance produces character, and character produces hope."
What kind of fruit are you producing in your life? Remember to be patient with the seasons in your life that take a little longer to produce.
Find ways to re-focus your attention off your problems and troubles onto other things this Thanksgiving holiday and Christmas season. Opportunities during the holidays unleashes a new way to do just that and giving to others love and attention is one way to get your mind off ourselves. By giving we receive joy that cannot be explained.
Proverbs 11:24-25
There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, and there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in want. The generous man will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered.
