I recently had the opportunity to visit my best friend in Ohio. She and I knew each other since we were about 9. Both of us have had plans to one day start a women's ministry or retreat together and we have been communicating about it for about 4 years. We talked about it so much that sometimes it seemed like an unapproachable goal, so many roadblocks would come in and distract our vision. There have been many trials in both our lives that at times even clouded our plans for this passion we still had and it was tempting to sometimes believe it could not be the Lord's will. We have decided that the life events and normal challenges of life and family is not a sign to give up what we felt and knew God had planned for this ministry. We have laid a foundation for what we believe is a ministry Retreat for women and we chose an Amish Country trip and setting to lay the vision down and started the planning . We took the first steps to seeing our dream and ideas come together.

Maybe you just need to do the first step. The first step could possibly be just to START!
